acta’s Young Carers Youth Theatre has been meeting online for a few months to lay the foundations for this show. In the three days prior to the show, they will devise it and rehearse it ready to present to an audience.
In Trapped we meet two people who are intent on overhauling the education system. They say it’s too rigid, too ‘one-size-fits-all’, and too outdated to work anymore. Searching for alternatives, they send a group of students on an adventure of a lifetime, learning lessons that couldn’t ever be taught in the classroom.
Come join the Young Carers as they boldly advocate for change in this funny and compelling play.
Age guidance: 7+
Trapped will begin promptly at 6.30pm
The acta Centre will be open to guests from 6pm. A bar serving drinks and snacks will be open.
Due to the nature of the way this project will come together, we cannot yet provide specific running times – but we expect it will be around an hour long.
