Produced by Sudafest, Nouggara is a unique cultural event showcasing the rich musical traditions of Sudan through an exhibition of handcrafted Sudanese instruments, accompanied by workshops, a panel discussion, and live musical performances.

Nouggara is the first event of its kind in the UK, designed to celebrate Sudan’s diverse musical heritage and foster cross-cultural understanding. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore traditional instruments, learn about their history and significance, and engage with Sudanese music experts and artists.
